It’s practically a given that you’re going to be doing some serious spending throughout the year for amazing gifts for your loved ones, customers and clients.
From your parents, to your besties, to even your work clients/colleagues/staff, and you probably have a long list of people and occasions to shop for. Birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, thank you gifts etc.
In our blog, we look at what it means to ‘give back’ and how Hamper Life and some of it’s many gifting boutiques do just that…
For some of us, we not only love to give (and receive, c’mon let’s be honest!) gifts, but also ‘give back’. There are so many ways that you can do this. From buying ethically made and socially conscious products to buying products and services that either give back to charity or empower people who are living in challenging communities & environments.
We are blessed to be surrounded by so many ‘giving’ people and businesses in or community as this is something we hold close to our hearts. Many of our gifting boutiques support amazing charities which have captured their hearts, minds and emotions, and donate a percentage of their gift hamper sales to them. Others choose to only include ethically made and socially conscious products into their gift hampers or support local Australia made businesses.
Some of the many charities that we and some of our gifting boutiques ‘give back’ to are; Breast Cancer Network Australia, Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia, Beyond Blue Foundation, National Heart Foundation, Save The Children and so many others as you will see by our image
Whichever way you look at it, it’s all about giving back!
There are many reasons why people ‘give back’, but for me it’s that not only does it make you a well-rounded person, but I believe it’s the right thing to do. It gives me motivation and satisfaction in both my personal life and my business life. In a selfish sense, it is good for my soul.
Don’t get me wrong, we’re not all living the high life over here, but we have our health, we have a roof over our heads, food on our table and we have ‘options’ in every aspect of our lives available to us. I know this sounds cliche, but to me, this means I am ‘fortunate’ and we can all do a little to help those who are less fortunate than us. Every little bit in any which way helps!
So how do you ‘give back’?
